Cat and Dog Laser Therapy in Miami, FL

Your pet has arthritis, but they aren’t responding well to their medication. Or perhaps they have a lesion that is healing very slowly. Whether your pet’s discomfort is due to illness, injury, or a chronic condition, our Class IV therapeutic laser can provide them with relief and additional healing. Pet laser therapy is an extremely effective pain management modality that utilizes infrared, red, and near-infrared light beams at varying frequencies to reduce pain and inflammation, increase circulation, and heal damaged cells.

We are happy to offer laser therapy here at our animal hospital in Miami, because the procedure is completely non-invasive, drug-free, and painless. If you believe your pet is in need of laser therapy, call us at (305) 663-3300 for a consultation.

What You Can Expect for Your Pet’s Laser Therapy Treatment in Miami

Laser therapy treatments will vary in time and frequency depending on your pet’s age, size, breed, color, and, most important, their condition. These factors also determine your pet’s light dosage. Generally, we can treat acute conditions in 1-2 sessions, but more chronic problems require multiple sessions. Each session takes between 3 and 8 minutes.

The light beams are transmitted through a small cylindrical handheld device, which is massaged in a circular motion over the areas in need of healing and pain relief. You and your pet will be required to wear protective goggles as standard safety procedure during the session, but the procedure is otherwise completely safe. The laser creates a gentle warming effect that your pet may find very comfortable.
