Veterinary Surgery Safety Protocol
Before every surgery, we perform a preliminary exam and blood work to make sure your pet is healthy. During their surgery, a veterinary assistant will monitor your pet’s EKG, heart rate, and oxygen saturation levels. Your pet will be given warm blankets to keep them comfortable while they recover, and we will call to notify you when they’re ready to go home.
Please call us at any time during our business hours if you have any questions about your pet’s condition. Their health and comfort is our priority, and we want to help make the recovery process as easy as possible for you and your pet. If your pet received non-dissolvable sutures, we will need to see them back within 10 to 14 days to remove them.
