Pet Surgery

Perhaps your pet needs a routine spay or neuter, or maybe they have a fractured leg that needs repair. At Country Club Animal Hospital, our veterinarian has the knowledge and expertise to perform both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries for cats and dogs. Naturally, you may have some questions and concerns about the procedure, the cost, and your pet’s recovery time. We will take whatever time you need to talk about what you can expect before, during, and after your pet’s procedure.

Our surgical suite, equipment, and instruments are state-of-the-art and thoroughly sterilized. As an AAHA-accredited practice, we also abide by the strictest pet surgery safety protocols to make sure all of our patients are comfortable and have the smoothest recovery possible.

Surgery Safety Protocol

Before every surgery, we perform a preliminary exam and blood work to make sure your pet is healthy. During their surgery, a veterinary assistant will monitor your pet’s EKG, heart rate, and oxygen saturation levels. Your pet will be given warm blankets to keep them comfortable while they recover, and we will call to notify you when they’re ready to go home.

Please call us at any time during our business hours if you have any questions about your pet’s condition. Their health and comfort is our priority, and we want to help make the recovery process as easy as possible for you and your pet. If your pet received non-dissolvable sutures, we will need to see them back within 10 to 14 days to remove them.
